"Scare the Muggles" project presented a set of interactive dynamic moving images and sounds in the elevator halls and passenger elevator cabins of OōEli. Among them, the sound artist and lead singer of the Blowman band, Yan Yulong, used a record player with a deformed needle to play sound segments extracted from nearly a thousand vinyls. Whenever a viewer enters the elevator, a randomly selected "summoned" sound from the past may play, whether it be the ethereal song of a beluga whale, a live jazz performance from 1959, an Indian dance, a recitation, or a quartet, among other possibilities. The tone of this sound also fluctuates with the vertical movement of the cabin, creating a dance-like interaction with the people. In the waiting hall of the passenger elevators, Wang Ziquan created numerous animated video clips, interspersing these absurd and humorous scenes to play during advertising breaks, making the screen appear as if it has been "invaded by magic."
